  Came in because of all the great reviews. He is very thorough and does explain everything but...there's some quirks to his personality. He's a little awkward, doesn't necessarily explain what he's doing when he's doing it (the assistant was amazing though I wish I caught her name- made sure I was safe, explained everything, and was nice throughout). Anyway, when they hit you with the bill, that's when they finally want to tell you that insurance doesn't cover. I hate offices that do work without letting you know the cost of what they're doing. Going in, they could clearly tell that I'm not as experienced or aware of their insurance policy. I called ahead of time to make sure my insurance would cover the visit and the secretary (Susan) reassured me that no work would be done without me knowing the cost. What a liar. Susan I would say runs a tight ship but started complaining to me about another patient that he had (called him annoying and said they get crazy patients). Didn't appreciate that. Then, she started down grading other dentists that would be under my plan because they don't do great work like this doctor- I guess it's a psychological approach to try to intimidate or scare me into staying with their insane prices. Insurance is there for a reason- if I can't afford something don't try to barrage me with your opinions I didn't ask for, stay professional. As I was leaving, another client (elderly man) was shocked at how much he had to pay for a visit $391 was what the secretary repeated to him 3 times. He swore prices used to be cheaper and they didn't really say anything to reassure him- just that that's what it costs. Seems like they blindside elderly clients just like they blindsided me with the costs. I'm not one to care about a dentists office have a "spa" like feel. All that extra fluff isn't necessary in my eyes. Give me good dentistry, sincerity, and clarity in the office with reasonable prices. I was a client that called and EMPHASIZED concern for insurance coverage but yet they still overlooked my needs and then Susan had the audacity to say "well normally if I know ahead of time I would let the client know" after my visit was done as if I didn’t call AHEAD OF TIME TO ASK. Well why didn't she take down my information AHEAD of time? Why didn't she check my insurance AHEAD of time when I came in before they started anything? She should've done her job a little more efficiently and this wouldn't have been a problem. I'm a straightforward kind of girl, this is a around the bush kind of office.
  
  DON'T come in unless you FOR A FACT- make sure that your insurance covers it or that you can afford them. Don't let them scam you. For the service they provide, eh they're not terrible but they're not that great.
