    The doctor didn't know the correct guidelines for treatment of sudden hearing loss and prescribed the incorrect dosage of medication, which caused irreversible hearing loss. I saw the doctor three times and expressed concern that the dosage was too low, but he never looked up what the correct dosage should be. After two weeks, I went to another doctor and was given the right dosage, but by that point it was too late to recover my hearing.
